on new years eve, most of the girls in boot camp (my division) went to sleep right away, but me and four or five others stayed up. once the clock read 2359 we stood in a circle around it and jumped around counting down from 60. once it was january 1, we sort of clapped a little then collectively asked “what do we do?!”
“GET DRINKS!”
so we all ran to our water bottles then met back up in the middle
“wait wait - lets make a toast”
“to our friendship, and to us meeting each other here at boot camp and helping each other through!”
we all take a drink
then someone farts and we all spit our water out and laugh and almost pee our pants
boot camp was pretty much one big collage of fart jokes at times…..
looking back that was one of my favorite boot camp moments though
also I thought it was pretty weird to think about how it was new years eve, and instead of partying and drinking and having sex like most of them would’ve been, we were in the middle of a room full of 70+ sleeping girls wearing granny panties and drinking water that tasted like bleach
